《莫斯科數(shù)學(xué)雜志》(MMJ)是由莫斯科獨(dú)立大學(xué)和高等經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)院數(shù)學(xué)系聯(lián)合出版的國(guó)際季刊(紙質(zhì)和電子版)，由美國(guó)數(shù)學(xué)學(xué)會(huì)發(fā)行。MMJ提供來自世界各地的高質(zhì)量的數(shù)學(xué)研究和研究說明論文。它的目的是把我們科學(xué)的不同分支匯集在一起，并實(shí)現(xiàn)盡可能廣泛的數(shù)學(xué)觀，這是莫斯科數(shù)學(xué)學(xué)院的特點(diǎn)，特別是莫斯科獨(dú)立大學(xué)的特點(diǎn)。期刊的一個(gè)重要特點(diǎn)是它特別鼓勵(lì)研究性的說明性論文，它必須包含新的重要成果，包括詳細(xì)的介紹，把研究成果放在其他研究的背景下，并解釋研究背后的動(dòng)機(jī)。其目的是使文章——至少是主要結(jié)果的表述和它們的意義——為廣大數(shù)學(xué)讀者所理解，而不是為少數(shù)專家所理解。

The Moscow Mathematical Journal (MMJ) is an international quarterly published (paper and electronic) by the Independent University of Moscow and the department of mathematics of the Higher School of Economics, and distributed by the American Mathematical Society. MMJ presents highest quality research and research-expository papers in mathematics from all over the world. Its purpose is to bring together different branches of our science and to achieve the broadest possible outlook on mathematics, characteristic of the Moscow mathematical school in general and of the Independent University of Moscow in particular.An important specific trait of the journal is that it especially encourages research-expository papers, which must contain new important results and include detailed introductions, placing the achievements in the context of other studies and explaining the motivation behind the research. The aim is to make the articles — at least the formulation of the main results and their significance — understandable to a wide mathematical audience rather than to a narrow class of specialists.
