Russian Journal of Physical Chemistry B: Focus on Physics is a journal that publishes studies in the following areas: elementary physical and chemical processes; structure of chemical compounds, reactivity, effect of external field and environment on chemical transformations; molecular dynamics and molecular organization; dynamics and kinetics of photoand radiation-induced processes; mechanism of chemical reactions in gas and condensed phases and at interfaces; chain and thermal processes of ignition, combustion and detonation in gases, two-phase and condensed systems; shock waves; new physical methods of examining chemical reactions; and biological processes in chemical physics.PEER REVIEWRussian Journal of Physical Chemistry B is a peer reviewed journal. We use a double blind peer review format. Our team of reviewers includes over 150 reviewers, both internal and external (90%), from 23 countries. The average period from submission to first decision in 2017 was 30 days, and that from first decision to acceptance was 60 days. The rejection rate for submitted manuscripts in 2017 was 10%. The final decision on the acceptance of an article for publication is made by the Editor-in-Chief.
