Journal of the Society of Fiber Science and Technology, Japan (Sen’i Gakkaishi) publishes original research articles on the science and technology of fibers and other related materials including pulps, papers, plastic films, membranes, composite materials, and optical fibers. All manuscripts must be prepared as ”Camera Ready” style, in which text, tables, and figures must be arranged in the appropriate locations. Please see ”Cameraready Form for Sen’i Gakkaishi”. The editor welcomes regular articles (Transactions) that have not been and are not to be published elsewhere. This journal also publishes technical papers, rapid communications, notes and comprehensive papers. Transactions should be comprehensive reports of significant results or conclusion. The number of pages of the manuscript is not restricted. Technical papers should include novel data and significant improvement in fiber technology. Rapid Communications should be preliminary reports of unusual urgency, significance, and interest. The length should be less than 4 pages. Notes are similar to Transaction articles but should be less than 4 pages long. Furthermore, notes are focused on limited subjects on which the author does not intend to publish later at greater length. Authors arrange their several recent original articles as a series of research results and submit as Comprehensive papers.Copyright is transferred to the publisher when a paper is accepted for publication. Although this journal does not carry a page charge for contribution, the author(s)must purchase at least 50 reprints.
