Chilean Journal of Agricultural Research (ChileanJAR) is the scientific journal of the Instituto de Investigaciones Agropecuarias (INIA), Ministerio de Agricultura, Chile, published quarterly in English (March, June, September, and December). It is indexed in Science Citation Index Expanded of Thomson Reuter (ex ISI), SCOPUS, SciELO, and others.Chilean Journal of Agricultural Research is an open-access journal available at www.chileanjar.cl, www.scielo.cl/chiljar. It is an electronic journal (Online ISSN: 0718-5839) and printed until December 2015 (Print ISSN: 0718-5820). Formerly it was Agricultura Técnica.ChileanJAR publishes original Research Articles, Scientific Notes and Reviews of agriculture multidisciplinary and agronomy: plant production, plant protection, genetic resources and biotechnology, water management, soil sciences, environment, agricultural economics, and animal production (focused in feeding).The editorial process is a double-blind peer reviewing, Editorial Office checks format, composition, and completeness, which is a requirement to continue the editorial process. Editorial Committee and Reviewers evaluate relevance and scientific merit of manuscript.Manuscripts should be electronically submitted through the Online Electronic System of ChileanJAR once the authors are registered. Papers should meet format requirements (Manuscript Sample) and items stipulated in the Instructions to Authors.
